This class will endow the student with a nationally Recognized Certificate of training and teach you the basics of effectively and safely utilizing a semi-auto pistol or revolver. Students are taught basic ammunition identification, selection, and ballistics, as well as firearm operations, how to transport firearms, and shooting fundamentals. Students are shown how to improve their shooting skills with various shooting positions, individual skills such as seasonal equipment selection development, and range time. Students will be able to engage stationary targets from a stationary platform with their selected weapon. The students must provide a box of 100 rounds for their own use. This course can be taught by female Instructors with prior coordination. A Non-refundable deposit of $50 is required to secure a seat in every class. Registration alone is not a guarantee that seating and course materials will be reserved!
Students are required to have their own firearm! Class requirements also include 100 rounds of ammo, spare magazine or speed loader, eye and hearing protection.
